MGDA is a Los Angeles-based Architecture studio focused on functional and expressive design that responds directly to the needs of our clients. MGDA was founded by Matthew Guerrero in 2006, with the vision of improving lives through quality design. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Matthew’s early training in fine arts led to his education at the University of Southern California’s School of Architecture. Through his education and practice, Matthew finds inspiration and purpose in turning people’s vision into reality.

The MGDA approach always begins with understanding our clients’ visions and goals before responding with design solutions. We believe every day is an opportunity to impact our community, and that positive change starts in our backyard. At MGDA, we strive to positively impact the lives of our clients. It is through a collaborative design process that we are able to create beautiful, intentional design.

Effective design solutions must respond to the unique opportunities and constraints each project presents. We collaborate in an open dialogue with clients, consultants, and community partners to ensure that each project is feasible, functional, and fun!

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Matthew Guerrero is a licensed Architect in the state of California and registered with the American Institute of Architects. Matthew received his BArch degree from the University of Southern California.
